Kathy is a BA professional with 30 years of experience in I.T. She delivers BA and agile training and coaching to many organisations in Australia and around the world. Since 1999, Kathy has been studying, practicing and teaching mindfulness. Kathy works with teams and individuals to implement mindfulness practices to improve teamwork, be more innovative and deliver better customer value. She is passionate about seeing people, teams and organisations succeed and thrive in an environment of collaboration and harmony.
Dr Liz Calder moved from academia into IT, loved it, and stayed. She’s a consultant Business Analyst working in Life Sciences and STEM with an ongoing fascination into human psychology and behaviour, and the intersections with IT - whether that is to do with reactions to change, team development or less conscious behaviours such as cognitive bias & ethics. As President of IIBA UK she champions Business Analysis as a profession across the country and promotes peer networks and support. Hobbies include live music, lifting heavy weights in the gym, growing vegetables for her kitchen, and trying to do too many things at once.

The course is interactive, conversational with exercises and brainstorms built-in. It is fast-paced, so that a wide range of techniques can be covered in four hours. Some techniques will be covered in more detail than others, the aim being to give attendees just enough to start using the technique themselves.
Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
This course will be of interest to Business Analysts, Product Owners/Managers, Project Managers, Consultants, and anyone involved in organisational, project, product, or business change... or anyone who works and engages with stakeholders!
